Dr. Sonja Stewart, Christian Education Director at First Presbyterian in the late 1960s and early 1970s, died on April 21. She was a retired professor at Western Seminary.

—You are invited to join a new women’s group on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 9:30—11:30 starting in May. We would like to take time for fellowship and exploration of diverse topics relating to women and faith. We’ll be starting with the book, Great with Child: Reflections on Faith, Fullness and Becoming a Mother by Debra Rienstra. Childcare will be provided. Hope to see you there.
