PROFILES TASK FORCE FACILITATES CHANGES

Posted December 29th, 2006 by KO No Comments »

A number of interested members have been meeting since August to present some desired changes to the church’s monthly publication. Other church publications have been studied. Soon to appear in your mailbox with the February issue will be a newsletter enlarged to 11×17 inches bearing the PCUSA logo, pastoral photos along with their messages and other photos from time to time, plus expanded content. Session members and others are asked to make their submissions by email in a Word attachment, if possible, to Profiles@fpcholland.org. Other submissions may still be delivered to the office. Any questions may be submitted to Pastor Linda, Vicki Best, Janet Magennis, Brett Bowen, Marcia Lievense, Jan Van Faasen, Paul Van Kolken, and Shirley Weersing.

CHURCH LIBRARY

Posted December 29th, 2006 by KO No Comments »

The church library is undergoing a transitional phase as we hope to update the resources available to the congregation. A list is being compiled of possible books needed, from theology to spiritual growth, including such authors as Max Lucado, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Phillip Yancy, and John Calvin himself. Once a final list is completed, it is our hope that members may have copies of certain books they are willing to donate. If there are books which individuals feel are a necessity for our church library, please Email Pastor Matt and he will add it to the list before we begin accepting donations.
