We are going to have a seniors lunch at Beechwood on Douglas on Monday, June 4 at noon. We have been there in the past and had a good time. We will be able to order off the menu, have separate checks and our own table. Please signup on the sheet in the Narthex. If you have any questions, please call me at 399-5135—Marilyn, back from Florida, looking forward to a great turnout.
Annual family church canoe trip for 2007 is Saturday, July 7. Registration information coming in June, questions contact Colleen Ball at 772-5826.
The FPC Movie Group, dormant for a couple years, will resurrect on Saturday, June 9, 2007, with a group viewing of one of the independent films shown at the film festival followed by a cook-out at the Saugatuck-Douglas home of Joy and Tedd Oyler.
Here’s the plan –
We’ll pick a movie that will start around 4:00 that Saturday and attend as a group, then we’ll head to the cook-out for dinner and movie reviewing. We’ll provide the meat and beverages and you’ll bring a dish to pass. We’ll also purchase the tickets – but ONLY for those who have signed up AND paid.
You may assume that the food cost will be $5.00 per person and the movie cost $10.00 per person.
We will purchase the tickets on Monday, June 4 – so the sign-up and payment deadline will be Sunday, June 3. We will probably be able to announce the movie selected by Memorial Day. Maps will be provided. Because parking might be an issue, you may want to plan to car pool to Saugatuck.
Please contact Chris or Tom Urbaniak – 796-9541, or Joy or Tedd Oyler – 269-857-7021.
