September 9, 2007—A DAY TO REMEMBER!

10 am Worship Service followed by the official “Kick-Off” of the ten month celebration of our 50th Anniversary.
Food – a catered Chicken Bar-B-Q with all the “fixins” followed by….. Big games and fun activities for “kids” of all ages on our own church property.
Everyone is invited and expected to be present! The church family needs to remember and make memories together.
The Anniversary Barrel will be in the Café from today until September 9. We want you to deposit your reservations as soon as possible by Labor Day.
Put your donations into a pew envelope (or your own) and put into the barrel any day until September 9.
There will be no charge but we need donations: (money or checks)
$10 per adult $5 per child (4-10 years) free for children 4 and under
We welcome large donations, too. If you are making a large donation send/take your check into the church office to receive credit on your record.

LITURGICAL DANCE GROUP

The newly formed liturgical dance group at First Presbyterian will be preparing a dance for worship on August 5. All of those over the age of 6 interested in worshipping God through dance should plan to attend the following practice sessions:
Thursday—August 1 5:00 pm @ Avalon
Saturday—August 4 10:00am @ Avalon
Sunday—August 5 9:30 am perform at worship

SHRIMP BOIL

SHRIMP BOIL is August 24 at 6:30 pm at Faber’s house, 127 Euna Vista Dr. The cost is $8.00 per person. Sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board. Shrimp, dessert, coffee, water and table service will be provided.
