Ordained by the Presbytery of New Brunswick on July 9, 1969, Rich Lichti has served the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, Trenton, New Jersey; the Fishing Creek Larger Parish, Benton, Pennsylvania; the First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, Michigan; and the Second Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa. He joined the staff of The Reformed Church of Bronxville (Reformed Church in America) on April 1, 1984, where he served as Minister of Congregational Life until moving to Holland, Michigan on June 30, 2007. Lichti is a member of the Lake Michigan Presbytery. His wife Karen, recently joined First Presbyterian Church.

Please don’t forget to help us empty the pallet of food in the narthex for Community Action House and hungry people. Cases are $10 and individual items are 50 cents. Please move your purchased item from the pallet to the paid container so that it can be picked up and used next week to feed hungry people.

Excellent orientation, training and staff support is provided for this vital position. PROGRESSIVE DINNER IS SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 3

All Adult FPC members or friends are invited to this annual event.  We will gather as a large group at 6:00 pm to enjoy appetizers.  You will be assigned to a small group for dinner at host homes.  We will gather again as a large group for dessert.  Cost is $8.00 per person plus an appetizer or dessert.  Please sign up in the narthex and indicate what you will bring and if you can host a small group for dinner.  Directions to the initial meeting place will be posted soon in the bulletin and in the narthex.  This is a great chance to get to know other FCP members in a casual social setting.  If you have questions please call Bart Shumaker at 399-1128 or Diane Hayes at 396-7851.
