The table in the narthex contains gift cards with suggestions for Holland Health Care Center and the Community Housing Partnership families. Gifts should be returned to church securely wrapped and tagged by December 9.
Also, please bring mittens, hats, scarves for the mitten tree.

Our Transitional Family is in need of a car for the Mom to get back and forth to work. She is checking on assistance for repair through Good Samaritan Center and hoping she would qualify for Carlink too. We are asking if any of you have a used car that may be leaving your family soon and would you consider donating to our Mom? Call Terri Borgman for more information.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS— Let’s sing! Head to church a little earlier on December 16th and 23rd and we’ll sing Christmas Carols before each service. Singing will begin at 8:30 am and 10:45 am. The services will begin at their regular 8:45 and 11:00 times. Do you have a favorite carol? Please email any request to Mary Deenik (Deenik@hope.edu) or place a note in my mail slot in the office. Joy to the World!

PW’S MISSION —Many women come to the Center for Women in Transition in urgent haste, with clothing for their children, but not much for themselves. On the small shelf next to the 28th Street entrance is a basket to receive new women’s underwear, which will be given to women who come to the CWIT. Please leave price tags on the underwear; this assures that it is brand new.

NEEDED—a ride to the 11 am church service for an elderly church member who lives on the north side. A van rather than car would be easier for this individual. If you are willing and able, please call or email Linda.
