CAMP GREENWOOD IS HIRING! Camp Greenwood is now accepting applications for the summer of 2009. Staffing is needed in the area of counselors, support staff, a program director and lifeguards. Applications are on the web at Camp Greenwood employment.

New this year is a SERVE Week for Sr. and Jr. High Youth at Camp Greenwood. (LIMIT 60 PEOPLE!) During the week of July 5 – 11, kids and their leaders will venture into Grand Rapids and surrounding areas to serve the poor and homeless. Last year Erika Parkinson of Richland (269.629.4944) brought her youth group and has signed up again for 2009. Four days will be devoted to going into Kent & Montcalm Counties as servants for Christ. In the evening you will join together for praise & worship, a dynamic speaker and camp life. The 5th day the whole group will relax at Michigan Adventures, a rollercoaster/water theme park. For more information contact Greg Hoekman at greghoekman@yahoo.com. The price for SERVE set up, a speaker, 6 days of food, lodging, music and all camp has to offer is $200.

Dinner will begin at 5:30 pm in the fellowship hall. There is no charge for this event, but a free will offering will be taken. At 6:30 pm, The Shepherd’s Story will be presented in the sanctuary by our children’s choirs. Dessert will be served in the fellowship hall following the program. Please join our children in anticipating and celebrating the birth of Jesus.

SANTA’S BREAKFAST is SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6th…from 8:30-10:30 AM in the fellowship hall. Come enjoy breakfast, crafts for the children, a visit with Santa, and a chance to purchase raffle tickets with items donated from area businesses! Breakfast tickets are $4 each for adults and children, age 2 and under are free. Hope to see you there!
