Boy Scouts

Boy Scout Troop 147 has been meeting at First Presbyterian Church since it was chartered in 1960.

Troop 147 has been chartered by Holland’s First Presbyterian Church since 1960. Since its founding, the troop has produced over 100 Eagle Scouts. We are “The Eagle Makers.”

While the troop is sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, and benefits from its sponsorship in many ways, it is not necessary for you to be a member of the church to join the troop. In fact, most troop members are not members of the church.

Troop 147 is strong, healthy, and growing increasingly more so. We have over 60 boys in the troop with a wide range of ages represented, from 10 to 17.
